audio2texts is operated by Staminna LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (United States). This Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. It is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable United States law.
2. Information we collect
- Account: your name and email (and, if you sign in with Google, your profile picture and Google account identifier).
- Usage: records of how you use the Service, such as the number and duration of transcriptions.
- Transcripts: the generated text is saved for signed-in users according to your plan's retention. Uploaded audio/video is processed to produce the text and is not retained as a file afterward.
- Payment: card details are handled directly by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.
- Technical: IP address, approximate country, and cookies essential to operating the Service.
3. How we use information
We use data to operate and improve the Service, authenticate you, process payments, store your history, provide support, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We share data only with providers necessary to run the Service: AI transcription processors, Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider, and hosting infrastructure. These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data retention
On the free plan, transcription history is kept for 30 days and then removed automatically. On paid plans, it is kept while your account is active. You can delete transcripts at any time in the "My account" area.
6. Security
We use technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission. No system is completely secure, but we work to reduce risk.
7. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on it. Depending on your state or country of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable law. To exercise any of these, use our contact channel. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for sign-in and preferences (such as your language). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
9. International users
The Service is operated from the United States, and your data may be processed there and in other countries where our providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
10. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
